Lauren Pope looks ready for business in chic suede skirt and rocking new shorter hair do

She announced last month that she was quitting her hit reality show TOWIE to concentrate on her business interests.

And Lauren Pope certainly looked the part as she arrived for a talk about women in business in London on Tuesday.

The blonde beauty looked super chic in a smart suede pencil skirt teamed with a leather jacket as she prepared to share her story on how she created her flourishing hair extension company, Hair Rehab London.

Lauren, 33, showed off her sense of style in her soft grey midi-length skirt, which she paired with statement heels and a plain black top. The Essex native threw a classic black leather jacket around her shoulders, coordinating with a smart tote bag.

Her makeup looked flawless with a glossy lip and a touch of bronzer to highlight her tanned complexion, while she showed off a new shorter hair do.

Lauren first unveiled the locks makeover on Instagram earlier this month, telling her fans that she used her own range of hair extensions for her new look. 'HAIR MAKEOVER ALERT Say hello to my midi chop Proving hair extensions aren't just for length...#midihair #lob #shaggybob #hairrehablondon,' she wrote.

Spotted at the Time Inc HQ to give a talk about women in business, Lauren Pope looked suitably smart wearing a grey suede pencil skirt teamed with a black turtleneck jumper and biker jacket. Lauren then accessorised her look with a tote bag and tan suede sandals.

Suede has been a strong trend for a couple of seasons now following on from the seventies resurgence, and a pencil skirt is a great way to work it into your work wear wardrobe!

We love the subtle hue of Lauren’s which is from Asos, but is now sadly sold out. Style with pointed heels and a crisp shirt for a look that means business!

Last month, Lauren announced that after half a decade in the cast of TOWIE, she was quitting the show, to focus more on her blossoming business.

Speaking to MailOnline about her decision to leave the ITVBe series, Lauren revealed that the constant rows with her co-stars helped her come to a conclusion.

Admitting that her last season was by far the hardest, the 33-year-old also told how she was struggling to balance her filming commitments with her business ventures.

Lauren said: 'I kind of had no mates left. The last series was not a fun series for me and I think the fun kind of went from TOWIE for me, and it made my decision a lot easier. I think it was just the right time, I had been thinking about it for a while.

'I've got a lot of things going on on the business side and it was getting to a point where that was getting affected as I was having to miss meetings if I was filming abroad.'

Asserting that she has no regrets, she continued: 'It was just starting to get too much. The decision is scary but I just had to go with what my gut was telling me at the time which was to move on.'

Lauren is now focusing of the company she founded, a range of clip-in hair extensions, in 2007 when she appeared on the now-defunct ITV reality show Tycoon - a show created by Simon Cowell and Dragons' Den star Peter Jones' production company.

Peter fronted the show, which sought entrepreneurs with ideas to make profit-building companies, where Lauren and her brand came fourth of six although Peter still assisted her in expanding the business. The brand is favoured by a host of stars including many of Lauren's TOWIE peers and the members of Little Mix.
